AP According to Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana on May 2, the headless body and a boat were found in the waters of Tawi Tawi province in the south of the country. The first part of the body was found in the Tawi Tawi province and may have been washed away by the waves.

According to local authorities, the body was dressed in blue and was found off the coast of Kinapusan Island, Tawi Tawi province, on April 24. The body was buried in the ground near where it was discovered.

Military officers are working with local officials in neighboring areas and the armies of Malaysia and Indonesia to identify the victims. They suspect that this is the body of a Chinese explorer, who disappeared last November after a ship capsized off the Marshall Islands.

The boat was found to have fairly similar characteristics to the explorer’s boat in photographs collected by the Philippine Army. Sobejana said that the Philippine army would support the relatives of the victims if they wanted to go to the Philippines to identify the body.

The Abu Sayyaf rebel group is known for kidnapping, ransom, and even hostage executions. However, Mr. Sobejana said that the incident showed no signs related to this rebel group.
