“The government has allocated capital to the Ministry of Defense, so the construction of the Phan Thiet airport will soon roll out,” said Major General Tran Don. If the schedule is in time, after 20 months, this airport will operate together with the completion of the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet highway, in 2022.

Due to the change in planning, the project has to adjust a series of procedures in accordance with the regulations. Recently, the Ministry of Defense has completed the pre-feasibility study report dossier and submitted it to the Government Office to inform the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
