In addition, the Hanoi City Police and Investigation Department also issued a decision to prosecute Ms. Pham Thi Doan Trang for two crimes: “Propaganda against the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”, as defined in Article 88 Criminal Code of 1999 and “Elaborate, store, disseminate or disseminate information, documents and articles to oppose the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”, as defined in article 117 of the Penal Code of 2015.
According to the source, Ms. Trang will be transferred to Hanoi to serve the investigation. Ms. Trang was arrested in the District 3 area (Ho Chi Minh City) on the morning of October 6.
