Patient 188 is an employee of the Truong Sinh Company, the catering unit of Bach Mai Hospital. On March 27, the patient accompanied the Bach Mai Hospital delegation to the hospital’s second facility in Ha Nam with 2 other Truong Sinh company employees. The tests of the 3 cases were positive and were treated at the Ha Nam General Hospital.
Patients who are treated here until April 14 are eligible for hospital discharge and home follow-up (in Chuong My, Hanoi). On the morning of April 17, the patient manifested intermittent dry cough, chest tightness, health continued to take samples, and this morning’s test result was positive on April 18.
This is the second case with a positive status again after the patient was eligible to announce the cure or discharge from the hospital, formerly patient No. 22 (British), upon leaving Da Nang for Ho Chi Minh City to return to home, then be positive.
In the case of LTH patient 188, according to information from local health authorities, the patient came home on April 14 and since then only contacted her husband and children, this is not reinfection, but due to a possible virus Weak at previous sampling time, or sampling location, the sampling time resulted in false negatives.
Hanoi has disinfected fumigation in the patient’s family and the surrounding area, bringing the patients’ husband and children to the isolated isolation area of the city, transferring the patients to the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital.
