150 people, including many forces mobilized by the authorities to the scene. A member of the rescue, holding a rope, swam to get closer to the car, then broke the glass door, tied the rope to the body of the car, and organized the stranded person along the rope to shore.

After more than four hours, all were rescued safely. “Fortunately no one was injured. This morning, passengers will be assisted in finding a means to continue their journey,” said Colonel Hoanh.

Driver Pham Quoc Cuong told the car that he was traveling from Da Nang to Nam Dinh. Due to the flooding of Highway 1A, which bypassed Dong Hoi City, he intended to go to the Ho Chi Minh Trail, but got lost in the flooded area and lost control. At the time of the accident, there were 17 passengers on board, including the elderly and children.
