One of the most remarkable details comes from Neymar’s red card. He hit Álvaro González on the head when he accused the opponent of racism. Even the Brazilian striker feels regretful when he doesn’t “hit his opponent straight in the face.
On social media, the two keep fighting. Álvaro González denies racism. Meanwhile, Neymar criticized the 30-year-old for not being worthy of a man when he dared to do so but did not dare to accept.
Midfielder Payet recently put oil on the fire over the incident. The French player posted on his personal page a photo of the rap band Bande t Organisée and it matched the faces of the Marseille players. In particular, the 1987 midfielder grafted Neymar’s face onto a dog, Álvaro González.
