The petition said that through developments in the trial, stemming from Ms. Diep’s frustration, doctors monitored her blood pressure, heart rate, and lawyers said that Ms. Diep was showing signs of not being healthy enough to attend. The trial, in danger of stroke.

Ms Diep’s defense attorneys said that the T.17 detention center had taken Ms Diep to the medical examination recently, found that she had more heart disease and prescribed medication for treatment (hypertension, tachycardia … ).

Before the new events in the judicial hearing, the lawyers proposed to the Panel and the representatives Attorney to stop the trial, give opinions to the medical department and to the T.17 detention center to take health control measures to ensure the interests of Mrs. Diep until she recovers.

The defendant Duong Thi Bach Diep turns 73 this year.
