Consequently, the defendant Nguyen Huu Thanh voted to approve the issuance of 9 million shares to strategic shareholder Nguyen Kim Company at the price of 40,000 VND / share, not through an auction appraisal, causing Sadeco to lose 208 billion. Defendant Nguyen Huu Thanh’s behavior is determined to be the achievement of the previously indicted defendant.
Regarding this case, PC03 previously prosecuted 17 defendants, most of whom are key leaders of IPC, Sadeco, and some of the defendants are officials of the HCM City Party Committee.
In particular, on December 16, PC03 prosecuted the accused and arrested Mr. Tat Thanh Cang, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee of the project “History of Ho Chi Minh City”, the former Permanent Undersecretary of the City Party. Ho Chi Minh City (period 2015-2020) in the same behavior.
Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police PC03 continues to investigate and clarify crimes committed at IPC and Sadeco.
