Mr. Le Quang Manh was elected secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the term 2020-2025
On the morning of September 25, the XIV Can Tho City Party Congress, 2020-2025 term heard the report on the results of the first session of the City Party Committee, XIV term, 2020-2025 term. elect the Standing Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Party Committee Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee and City Party Committee Inspection Committee Chairman.
At the first meeting, the Executive Committee of the XIV mandate of the Can Tho City Party Committee elected the 15-member Standing Committee. Mr. Le Quang Manh (Undersecretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee) was elected to serve as Party Secretary for the period 2020-2025. Comrades Pham Van Hieu (Undersecretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council), Tran Viet Truong (Head of the Party Committee for Propaganda of the City Party Committee) were elected as Undersecretary of the Party Committee. The Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee consists of 11 members, Mr. Le Van Thanh was elected chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee.
Mr. Le Quang Manh was born in 1974, in the My Duc district, Hanoi. He is a doctor in economics. He was appointed Vice Minister of Planning and Investments in March 2018.
In May 2019, Mr. Le Quang Manh was rotated, transferred and appointed by the Secretary of the 12th Party Central Committee to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee, and held the position of Deputy Secretary. Can Tho City Party Committee Charter for the period 2015-2020, and was also presented to the Can Tho City People’s Council elected to serve as Chairman of the Can Tho People’s Committee for the period 2016- 2021.
