Reuters cited sources familiar with sources from 15-12 who said Biden elected Pete Buttigieg, former mayor of the city of South Bend, Indiana, as transportation minister in the new government.

Buttigieg (38 years old) is also one of the candidates who has shown surprising strength by participating in the 2020 US presidential elections of the Democratic Party.

Ms. Granholm (61), Michigan’s first Governor, served two terms in this battlefield state from 2003 to 2011. Ms. Granholm used to work with Mr. Biden when he was a deputy general. President of the United States under the administration of former President Barack Obama.

Ms. Granholm has supported efforts to build modern electric car battery plants in Michigan. He also pursued a renewable energy standard, which requires that some of Michigan’s electricity be produced from recycled sources.
