The memorial service for the 13 martyrs who died in a rescue mission at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station will be held in Military Region 4 on October 18.
Accordingly, the funeral program was held at 268 Funeral House, 268 Military Hospital, Hue City on October 18 as follows: Visiting ceremony begins from 7:00 am to 11:00 am; From 11 am to 12 am, there will be a memorial ceremony and a diary.
The memorial service is under the leadership of Military Region 4. At the memorial service, people will come to burn incense and send 13 officers and soldiers. People can come to burn incense and say goodbye.
The Prime Minister has just issued Decision 1594 / QD-TTg to grant a Certificate of Homeland to 13 martyrs from the Ministry of National Defense and Thua Thien Hue Province who died on October 13 while conducting search and rescue work. presented to the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station, Thua Thien Hue province.
Also in the evening, considering the Prime Minister’s proposal in Report No. 1430 / TTr – TTg dated October 16, 2020, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam decided to postpone the Medal of Valor to:
Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province.
Mr. Pham Van Huong, Head of Information – Propaganda Department, Portal, Thua Thien Hue Province People’s Committee Office.
For having courageously acted in rescue and rescue work at Rao Trang 3 Hydroelectric Power Plant, Phong Xuan Commune, Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province.
The Central Committee of the Youth Union also decided to postpone the “Brave Youth” badge to two young soldiers on the accident mission at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station, including: Major Ton That Bao Phuc (34 years old), Chief from the Department of Industry, Department of General Staff, Military Command of the Thua Thien – Hue Province and Major Nguyen Canh Cuong (29 years old), Leader of Company 6, Battalion 2, Brigade 80. Both were brave Sacrifice for a mission of landslide rescue at Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station.
