Military Hospital 175 (Ministry of Defense) is the place that patient 1979 (Tan Son Nhat airport staff) used to go to before being discovered infected with COVID-19. Immediately after the discovery of this case, the hospital quarantined and took samples to analyze all those exposed.
On February 8, given the complicated progress of the epidemic (25 new cases were registered), the city requested tests to all personnel and personnel of Hospital 175.
The number of samples to be collected is very large when there are around 1,800 staff members, nurses, doctors and staff working in the hospital, so the sampling force has to work at night.
In the spirit of “fast, fierce”, they leave families and children behind, leave the next Tet holiday, compete against time to ‘track COVID’ for their colleagues, so that colleagues feel safe to take care of health of the community.
“Translating COVID-19 is no longer a matter of people. No matter how long we stay awake, we just hope that all samples are negative,” said a medical staff.
As of this morning, February 9, the Military Hospital 175 reported that there were 1,779 samples with a negative result for COVID-19.
