Many communes in the Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province, are still under water. Trieu Giang commune is one of the most flooded areas when 3/3 of the villages are still surrounded by flood water.
This zone of the navel of the flood is sandwiched between three rivers, the people here are familiar with the rainy season, but everyone is surprised because this flood, the national highway quickly overflows.
Tra Lien Tay village is the most affected area due to its proximity to the Thach Han River. Although the rain is not much during the day, but due to the large amount of water coming upstream, most of the houses are still found deep in the flooded area.
According to Ms Le Thi Ai, a resident of Tra Lien Tay village, this flood, the water level is higher in history than the 1983 flood that the people of the village left the mark.
