Quang NgaiAfter four days of hospitalization due to many illnesses, little Dinh Van K’Re could not survive and was taken back to his hometown by relatives more than 70 km away.
On the morning of November 9, Dinh Van K’Re (a small boy of 11 years old, 58 cm tall and almost 4 kg in weight) in Quang Ngai was taken to his home in Go Da village, Son commune Ba, Son Ha district.
“The baby fainted while attending school last Thursday, everyone went to the ER but could not be cured,” said a relative of K’Ro.
Dr. Tran Dinh Diep, Head of the Department of Positive Resuscitation – Anti-Poisoning, Quang Ngai Hospital for Obstetrics and Pediatrics, said that when he was admitted to the hospital, K’Ro cardiac arrest, apnea, sepsis, encephalitis.
Dinh Van K’Re is the second son of Mr. Dinh Van An and Ms. Dinh Thi Pia. When I was born, I was only a glove long.
At the age of 5, K’Re weighs only 3 kg, is 50 cm tall, and can eat several tablespoons of rice throughout the day. Since I can only walk a few steps, my parents must always be carried on my back. Doctors that year diagnosed K’Ro with a rare disease: Seckel (dwarf man, bird’s head).
Since 2016, when he was 7 years old, K’Ro was returned to school by teacher Dang Van Cuong, rector of Son Ba Primary School. He has raised and cared for K’Ru as his son for the past four years.
For the 2020-2021 school year, Mr. Cuong took his little student to live with his family in Quang Ngai City and transferred him to a school at K’Ro in Quang Ngai Province Integrated Education Center . During the last days, the teacher is on call to take care of me at the hospital.
