On November 20, Thai media reported that Kiatisuk returned to Vietnam, leading HAGL. According to the SiamSport (Thailand), signed a two-year contract, receiving a monthly salary of 800,000 baht (equivalent to 600 million dong). Therefore, the total value of the contract between Kiatisuk and HAGL can reach 19.2 million baht (14.5 billion dong).

“Bau Duc is very enthusiastic, loves football. I remember that from 2002 to 2004, the chosen Duc regularly visited the players. He paid special attention to young players. He wanted to work again. Hopefully, I can help HAGL win tickets to the AFC Champions League. I will talk to the players about that goal when they face off, “Kiatisuk said.

Kiatisuk revealed that he wants to promote fast and coordinated play at HAGL. He believes that this is a game that suits the qualities of Vietnamese players. The Thai coach wants to aim for beautiful and clean football and insists that he will build HAGL with his own style of play.

“I think HAGL is good enough to win the V-League. I have known players like Van Toan, Xuan Truong or Tuan Anh since they were little. They are very technical players. I often follow information about Club in the press. I think that if the players are determined, not just 11 on the court but all 25 players on the roster, HAGL can beat them all, “he said.

Kiatisuk is expected to be present in Vietnam in early December, however, he must be in quarantine for two weeks, according to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention process, so that until December 17 he can launch the mountain equipment. The 47-year-old former forward was excited about the prospect of returning to Pleiku.

“I love the city of Pleiku very much. This is a great challenge for me. My first visit here was 18 years ago. But I still keep in contact with many people in Vietnam. I also love Vietnamese football.” I still remember when I was at HAGL, whether it was at home or away, in the North, the Center or the South, there were fans who supported me at that time, the feeling of shaking hands after every game was great. “Kiatisuk shared.

Kiatisuk, born in 1973, is a legendary forward in Thai soccer. He used to play for HAGL in 2002-2006, helping the local team win the V-League in 2003 and 2004. In 2006, Kiatisuk assumed the role of player and coach, before retiring.

In 2010, he returned to lead the HAGL, but was unsuccessful in the V-League. He then returned to Thailand to work in various clubs such as Chula United, Bangkok and he managed Thai teams from 2013 to 2017.
