However, the leader of the Phuoc Dong Commune People’s Committee said they were mobilizing the owners of the violating buildings to be dismantled; If they don’t cooperate, the authorities will advance the money, force them to dismantle and then collect it from the building owner.

These are workshops that mainly sell handicrafts, rubber mattresses, souvenirs … to Chinese tourists, built illegally for many years along Nguyen Tat Thanh avenue. In 2018-2019 period, every day many Chinese customers visit these stores to buy. However, after the Covid-19 outbreak, from early 2020 until now, most of these stores have closed.
