On September 30, the Police of District 12 (Ho Chi Minh City) made a file and investigated the case of a group of people who carried weapons to destroy karaoke bars in the area.
According to NTHV (40 years old), owner of SH karaoke on Nguyen Anh Thu Street (Hiep Thanh District, District 12), the incident occurred on the night of September 20.

Consequently, a young man named “bald” Bao came to the shop to meet Ms. V. to ask to “save” two million dong. However, the shop owner does not allow the young people to leave.

About an hour later, this man who proclaimed the name “bald” Bao arrived with a group of 11 young men on many motorcycles, carrying all kinds of homemade weapons.

This group rushed into the bar to break and swear. Security cameras showed a group of youths violently crushing.
At that time, the nephew of Ms V., TN (18 years old), was beaten by a person in the group with a homemade knife that cut into his back area and injured him. The incident caused the people inside to panic.
On the afternoon of September 30, speaking to reporters, Ms. V. said that she was not completely shocked after the incident. The owner also said that she has been in business for many years, but has not encountered any similar cases.
“I did not expect this group of people to be that ruffian and aggressive” – said Ms V ..
Later, District 12 police intervened and arrested 12 people involved. In which, the investigative agency has issued a decision to detain nine people, including: Tran Huynh Nam Anh, Ngo Hai Dang, Truong Thanh Trung, Nguyen Dinh Tam, Nguyen Tien Dat, Nguyen Tran Tuan Kiet, Phan Van Tuan Khoa, Nguyen Thanh Jr., Huynh Dung.
The police allowed the family to sponsor three people, including Le To Gia Bao, Ho Tan Phat and Tran Duc Thang.
Ms. V. said that after the incident, Nguyen Tien Dat’s family went to the store to ask for compensation.
