At least five clashes, including bombings, have been recorded along the 740-kilometer-long informal border between India and Pakistan, also known as the Line of Control (LoC), according to AFP.
The Indian military accuses Pakistan of regularly violating a two-decade-long ceasefire agreement at LoC.
At least 3 Indian soldiers were killed and 3 wounded in the village of Keran (controlled by India) in disputed Kashmir.
Indian police said three more civilians were killed and at least three seriously injured in Indian-controlled areas in Kashmir. Many villagers fled the villages due to the war.
Pakistani officials said they had suffered casualties on their part, but did not release specific figures.
