On September 26, this person was hospitalized at 36 weeks of pregnancy. They diagnosed the striker earlier, worried that the disease would cause bleeding. When he was hospitalized, the patient had no abdominal pain, he still had amniotic fluid, no bleeding.
In the next three days, the pregnant woman showed no signs of abnormality, due to the lack of weeks of delivery, the hospital continued with the follow-up.
At 4:15 a.m. on October 1, the woman suddenly felt abdominal pressure, then ruptured the amniotic fluid and passed out in the hospital bed. Doctors immediately performed endotracheal intubation, balloon massage, shock injection and an operation to save the fetus, but both mother and child did not survive.
“Due to the family’s disagreement in conducting the forensic examination, we cannot conclude the exact cause of death. This morning, the hospital had a professional meeting in which it was ruled that the pregnant woman had an amniotic fluid embolism. The patient’s stroke occurred suddenly, with no prior signs of abnormalities. In addition, pregnant women do not suffer from other diseases ”, Mr Chien said.
According to the medical literature, amniotic fluid (a syndrome similar to anaphylactic shock in pregnancy) is a condition in which amniotic fluid, fetal cells, hair, or other debris enters the mother’s bloodstream through the placenta. . in utero, causing an allergic-type reaction, causing acute pulmonary heart failure and severe bleeding (blood clotting disorder). This is one of the scariest complications in obstetrics.
