Baggage leaving Minh Son Commune (Do Luong District, Nghe An Province) to enter the admission of Trinh Thi Thu Suong, a freshman at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, He has three colored T-shirts and several million dong for the people to collect.
In a damp room on Le Van Chi Street (Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh City), the eyes of the 18-year-old who is staying for the first time at the inn are nostalgic for her father and dear mother.
Everything will be fine
Dew has a father, mother and life is not as difficult as it is today. After that, Suong’s father died due to a catastrophe, so his mother was depressed, not very alert. Year Suong was in eighth grade, one day her mother collected bottles and was lost for two days and did not return, and was also hit by someone else in a car. The collision was quite strong, but fortunately he woke up.
Fatigue has not stopped clinging to her family when Suong’s mother was hit by a truck later that year and died. “Until now, I still don’t dare to look at my mother’s altar. That day, I came home from school and saw everyone surrounded by my mother… ”- Dew yelled, he said.
An orphan of both parents, Suong returned to his grandmother (91 years old this year). By the ninth grade, Suong began living alone in a dilapidated house next to an old tree surrounded by the forest. trees, bushes.
“It will all be over,” was the inscription on the night table carved by the Fog, on one occasion he calmed down. “It was a rainy and windy night, suddenly there was the sound of footsteps creaking in the backyard, getting closer and closer. I got up and readied the log, crouched on the corner of the bed. Fortunately thanks to the barking of the dog Mai Mai, the sound of footsteps. Just new legs “- Suong said.
Accompany dew
Dew said that outside of school, at the age of 13, taking care of dogs was his way of forgetting about worries. “There was a very rainy night, the wind blew through the rotten door, creating a hole big enough for a young man to enter. I could only hold Mai Mai and cry” – he confided. The next morning, Suong went to a neighbor’s house to borrow a hammer, a nail, and asked for some old boards to repair the door.
Each month, Suong receives 405,000 dong of orphanage allowance, divided every day into Suong, spending 13,000 dong. That small amount doesn’t cover tuition fees or debt. Frost looks for part-time jobs and grows vegetables around the house. Hunger is common with dew. Once he had no money, he went to the market to buy 5 packages of noodles. The mist ate half a rogue pack, the other half mixed in more cold rice for the dogs. How many years ago was Dew’s weight still only 41 kg? “When buying a debt, the owner knows the face, he always gives more, they even say that they do not buy meat and fish to eat. But where you can buy the money, the meat is too expensive, the fish too” – said Suong.
The rainy season in central Vietnam last year, there was a dew fasting period for three days. The places he requested, the debt was also owed, the secret was thinking of selling dogs. The dog hunter came too, but at the last minute, she couldn’t help but apologize to people and then hug the “friend” who comforted her every night. “At that time, I will regret it until the end of my life” – tears in his eyes.
With a total of 21.5 points in D-grade subjects, Suong became a new student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. To take care of the money to study in the city, Suong has also worked part-time for an English tutoring center in Thu Duc district. The dog Mai Mai and Mô Mô were also sent by Suong to his aunt and family. Beware.
Seeing Suong’s situation, Ms. Doan Thi Hong (22 years old, from Nghe An’s hometown) has given Suong free accommodation at her inn for almost a month. “I cannot imagine the story, the life of the Mist while she is in the field. It takes so much strength that she can overcome everything. And that is also the reason why I want to accompany her in a certain part.” Hong said.
Carve love
“In November 2019, Ms. Thu gave the store for 10 packs of noodles, for 5 packs; in June 2020, Aunt Luong gave 10 kg of rice; in August 2020, Mr. Viet gave 1 million 7 “. It is not a notebook, but Suong can still remember all those who have given and helped him in a specific and detailed way.
In Dew’s heart, he said this memorization as if he were keeping a journal. “Remember to remember, take note of everyone’s help in times of difficulty. And also record to take it as a goal, motivation to study, to succeed again to help those who need it like me” – Rocío determined.
