Tra Van commune is a landslide place far from the landslide point of Tra Leng commune (Nam Tra My district), the traffic to this commune is completely isolated, telephone waves are also very hectic.
Right on the morning of October 29, Mr. Truong Kim Chung (living in Nam Tra My City) walked for more than 3 hours to the landslide point in Village 1, Tra Van Commune, District from Nam Tra My (Quang Nam province).
According to Mr. Chung, on the afternoon of October 29, the 8 victims who died after the landslide of 3 families were buried with mass graves.
On the phone, we heard heartbreaking screams as local people prepared to bury the unfortunate victims after the disaster. Mr. Chung said that the entire village was buried by dirt and rocks, and that the houses of the victims were covered with rocks at the foot of a mountain.
Currently, in the village, there are still people with minor injuries and they have received first aid.
The local population has been temporarily evacuated to safe places and prepared to move out of the danger zone due to the danger that the soil and rocks will continue to slide.
According to Mr. Chung, the road to Tra Van commune has many landslides, people only have to walk through these landslides to access this commune.
