Before that, on the afternoon of January 4, after attending a housewarming party in Doan Tung Commune, Thanh Mien District, Duong Minh Tuyen (34 years old, living in Area 5, Tien An City de Bac Ninh) with a group of friends went to sing at a karaoke bar. Tuan Anh lives in Thanh Mien City, Thanh Mien District.
Tuyen’s car was parked in the flower garden on 392nd Street, near the karaoke bar. Around 9:45 am the same day, 2 young men on motorcycles, covered with masks, came running, the people behind the car turned their heads and fired at the car.
At the time of the shooting, Nguyen Van Nam (25 years old, friend of Tuyen) was sitting in the extra seat, Duong Minh Tuyen was not in the car. The incident did not result in loss of life, but did damage Tuyen’s car in several places.
After more than 40 hours of investigation, on the afternoon of January 6, the investigation agency summoned La Van Linh (21 years old, resident in Ba Trai commune, Ba Vi district, Hanoi city), identified as motorcyclist. .

At the investigative agency, Linh claimed to have driven an unmarked black motorcycle from Hanoi to Thanh Mien city, Thanh Mien district, to welcome Ho Van Khoa (28 years old, resident of Mai Dinh commune, district de Soc Son., City of Hanoi).
After picking up Khoa from Thanh Mien City, Linh drove Khoa to the area where Tuyen’s car was parked. After the crime, the two fled to Hanoi.
The investigating agency initially determined that the cause of the incident was due to the fact that Duong Minh Tuyen and Ho Van Khoa had conflicts with each other before, repeatedly cursing and challenging each other on social media. The two agreed to make an appointment on the afternoon of January 4, to go home to eat at Le Van Thai (38 years old, living in Doan Tung commune, Thanh Mien district) and then resolve the conflict.
When he saw Khoa not coming back as scheduled, Tuyen went live and challenged his opponent, so Khoa invited Linh to Thanh Mien to cause the above incident.
At present, Thanh Mien District Police have prosecuted the disorderly conduct case and continue to coordinate with professional units to arrest Ho Van Khoa for investigation.
