Hoai Linh said, “Mr. Tuan Ngoc asked me to let everyone wait. But now everyone wants to extend their time with Mr. Tai, just a few more hours, he will return to America and this time he will not return.”
Many people sobbed on Hoai Linh’s part. He invited the choir to sing a song Farewell before the ceremony. Hoai Linh said she wanted to hear the song because she felt the lyrics were right for Chi Tai: “Goodbye everyone / I’m leaving for the last time / I’ll never be back / See you in the Kingdom / I agreed to go / Good luck to you! “. When the song sounded, Truong Giang turned his face away and wiped away his tears. His wife, Nha Phuong, comforted him on the shoulder. The couple of actors remained inside the funeral home, taking turns bowing to the audience that had come since the morning.
Director and artist Tran Ngoc Giau said goodbye on behalf of the artists: “Dear Chi Tai, each of you has left a work for life. For you, people not only remember the works, they also remember them. On this trip, I only see my wife in the memory. Goodbye Chi Tai. ”The director thanked organizers like Hoai Linh and Viet Huong for their best efforts to have a full funeral for the late comedian.

18 wreaths, representing 18 units of theater, cinema, close friends and artists, were placed in the field one by one, placed along the driveway with the coffin to start. The logistics team and the large displacement driver stood solemnly in the rain waiting to take the late artist to the airport. Everyone lined up along the two sides of the road to prepare to see Chi Tai off.

Chi Tai died of a stroke on the afternoon of December 9. The visit took place at the South National Funeral Home on 12/12, on the same afternoon of the holy day, she was transferred to the Tan Son Nhat airport, back to the United States according to the wishes of the family.
