According to the resolution, the People’s Council of the city exercises the right to supervise the fulfillment of the constitution, the law and the implementation of the resolution of the People’s Council of the city in the district or district; oversee the activities of the district People’s Committee, the district People’s Committee, the district People’s Court, the district People’s Committee.
The City Council will also conduct a vote of confidence with the president of the district Popular Committee. People who obtain a vote of confidence with more than half the total number of deputies of the city council with low credit rating can resign; In the event that 2/3 of the total number of members of the People’s Council of the City have a low credit rating, the People’s Council of the City will request the President of the People’s Committee of the City to consider and decide in accordance with his authority.
In addition to the right to challenge city-level positions elected by the People’s Council, the delegates of the People’s Council of the City have the right to question the president of the district People’s Committee, the chief judge of the district People’s Court, and the director of the Committee. The resolution of the National Assembly also gives the President of the Popular Committee of the City the right to appoint, dismiss, transfer, rotate, second, reward, discipline, suspend the work of the president, vice president of the Popular Committee of the district.
When urban government is organized, the district Popular Committee and the neighborhood Popular Committee are the state administrative bodies in the district or neighborhood.
