On that basis, when the action program is published, the members of the Popular City Council will send their beliefs with their votes. After carefully studying the action plans of the two candidates, the delegates voted. As a result, Ms. Phan Thi Thang and Mr. Le Hoa Binh were elected Vice Presidents of the People’s City Council for the 2016-2021 term, with 76/84 votes respectively; 80/84 delegates were present at the meeting. The fields that Ms. Phan Thi Thang is in charge of are expected to be finance – trade – services – tourism; Mr. Le Hoa Binh is in charge of the urban areas.
At this meeting, the City People’s Council delegates also voted for an additional member of the City People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the City Tourism Department.
Therefore, the city’s Standing People’s Committee is sufficiently staffed, which includes President Nguyen Thanh Phong and 5 vice-chairs of the People’s Committee, namely Vo Van Hoan, Ngo Minh Chau, Duong Anh Duc, Le Hoa Binh and Ms. Phan Thi Thang. Previously, the People’s City Council voted to remove Mr. Le Thanh Liem from the post of Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the City for Mr. Le Thanh Liem, who was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to be the Head of the City Party Committee and Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen because he did not participate term of new term. The City People’s Council also voted to remove Ms. Phan Thi Thang from the position of Vice President of the City People’s Council.
Mr. Le Hoa Binh turns 50 this year, from Quang Ngai.
Qualifications: Master in Civil and Industrial Construction, Bachelor of Economics; High-level political theory.
Mr. Le Hoa Binh used to hold the following positions: Deputy Director of the Urban Improvement Construction Works Investment Management Board, Deputy Director of the Construction Department, Chairman of the District 7 People’s Committee.
In April 2019, he was appointed Director of the City’s Department of Construction.
Ms. Phan Thi Thang is 44 years old and from Long An.
Qualifications: Master of Economics, Bachelor of Laws; High-level political theory.
Ms. Phan Thi Thang used to hold the following positions: Vice Chairman of the Binh Tan District People’s Committee, Deputy Director and Director of the Finance Department.
In July 2019, she was elected Vice President of the IX period of the Popular Council of the City, period 2016-2021.
