AmericaThe video of the man burning a bag full of ballots was shared by Eric Trump before it was exposed as false.

The video appeared online on November 3, showing a man holding a plastic bag filled with paper like a ballot, then lighting a fire. The video did not show the man’s face.

This person confirmed that the bag contained 80 votes “all voted for President Trump.” Although the video did not show the location, the names of other candidates appeared on papers showing that it was filmed in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Virginia Beach city government announced on November 3 that these ballots were “sample ballots”, not printing important barcodes that appear on official ballots.

“An anxious citizen informed us of the video of the burning of ballots. They are not official ballots, but sample ballots,” the administration said. The city is also investigating the case.

However, Eric Trump, the president’s second son, shared the video on Twitter with the caption “Burn 80 Trump votes.” The account Eric shared was blocked by Twitter and the video no longer appears.

Eric refused to remove the post, despite a response from Virginia Beach authorities. Eric’s job comes when Democratic candidate Joe Biden won 13 electoral votes in Virginia.

This is not the first time that Eric Trump, son and adviser to President Trump, has shared fake news on his Twitter account. In early October, Eric shared photos of rapper Ice Cube and 50 Cent wearing a hat supporting Trump during his re-election campaign. But the AP news agency noted that the photo was edited to add “Trump 2020.”
