Cavani is at risk of being expelled from the English Football Association (FA) for allegedly using racist words in a post on social media.

Video of Cavani’s 2 goals against Southampton:

Cavani became MU’s hero in a spectacular 3-2 win over Southampton in the 10th round of the Premier League. Entering the field from the bench in the second half, the Uruguayan striker shone with an assist from Bruno Fernandes to shorten the score before making a double to score 3 points for the “red devils”.

MU is in danger:

Cavani’s message contains racist wording

After the game, Cavani shared some congratulatory photos that he received from his fans on Instagram. Image of which was shared by the striker along with the message “Thank you black.”

The term in Cavani’s post is believed to be the word that his Uruguayan teammate Luis Suárez used to insult defender Patrice Evra during the Liverpool-MU game in October 2011. And everyone knows that Suárez was fined £ 40,000 by the FA and banned from playing 8 games for racism.

Both Manchester United and the FA have yet to comment on the matter, but Sky Sports has revealed that the UK football chief will carry out an investigation into Cavani’s post, despite the forward. Uruguay eliminated him shortly after. According to The Sun, if he is accused of racism, Cavani is in danger of being suspended for at least 3 games.

Cavani joined the Old Trafford squad on a free transfer last October. With a double against Southampton, the former PSG player currently has 3 goals after just 5 Premier League appearances. So if the Uruguayan forward is suspended as a Suarez teammate, it will be a loss for MU in the context of both Rashford and Martial playing disappointingly up front.
