The water level at the top of the Gianh River rose very rapidly, causing a 5-point split between National Highway 12A and the villages of Loc.

Currently, Quang Binh continues to have heavy to very heavy rains, this town is forecast to continue to receive another flood if the rain continues.
Due to the impact of the floods and Typhoon No. 7, many coastal areas in Dong Hoi City have also been eroded. This afternoon, the rescue huts on Nhat Le beach were also washed away by the waves.
