Until the afternoon of November 1, the authorities were still working at the home of Mr. Hoang Van Truong, former secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee, to investigate the case of his injury and had to go to the courtroom of emergencies.
According to a source, in the early afternoon from 1 to 11, there was a man riding a motorcycle, wearing a black coat and a full face helmet to his home in the new urban area of Phuoc Long (P. Phuoc Long, City Nha Trang) attacked him and injured him in the neck area.
Mr. Truong was taken to Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for an emergency.
According to information from Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, Mr. Truong had a torn neck vein, was treated by the hospital and, at 7 pm on November 1, was transferred to a recovery room.

Authorities are currently searching for the person who injured Mr. Truong.
Mr. Hoang Van Truong turns 66 this year. He was previously a member of the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee for the period 2010-2015. He retired in 2014.
