That patient had 1819 DM, 48 years old, address 51/49 group 21, Dich Vong neighborhood, Cau Giay district, related to the Chi Linh (Hai Duong) outbreak. On January 23, Ms. L. went with her family of 3 to Bach Dang, Chi Linh, Hai Duong. On January 24, he returned to Hanoi and was tested by the Hanoi TCDC and confirmed that he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on January 31 at night.
Patients are isolated for treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 from 30 / 1-20 / 2.
On February 21, Ms. L. was discharged from the hospital after 3 times she tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 on: February 14; 2/17 /; February 20th.
On 2/24, the patient sample was followed up after discharge, positive result on 2/25. Currently, the patient is being transferred to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 for further isolation and treatment.
According to Mr. Tuan, the re-positive disease case has no risk of spreading to the community.
To date, Hanoi has 35 cases of Covid-19 infection, in eight districts, including Nam Tu Liem, Dong Anh, Cau Giay, Me Linh, Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Ba Dinh, and Tay Ho. The epidemic is basically under control.
