5 new cases of COVID-19, including 2 foreign experts discovered in Hanoi, were announced by the Ministry of Health on the night of November 23.

– DISEASE 1309 (BN1309) in Ho Chi Minh City: male, 50 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ky Anh City, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province.
– DISEASE 1310 (BN1310) in Ho Chi Minh City: male, 24 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 14, District 3, city. Ho Chi Minh.
On November 8, these two Romanian patients entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN82, immediately isolated in the city. Ho Chi Minh. The third test on November 22 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
– DISEASE 1311 (BN1311) in Ho Chi Minh City: male, 29 years old, flight attendant, Vietnamese nationality, residing in ward 12, Go Vap district, city. Ho Chi Minh. – PATIENT 1312 (BN1312) in Hanoi: female, 29 years old, expert, Filipino nationality. On November 18, the previous patient from Korea entered Noi Bai airport on flight OZ733, immediately isolated in Hanoi. On November 21, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is in isolation and treated at the Dong Anh Tropical Disease Center.

As of 6:00 p.m. on November 23, Vietnam had a total of 1,312 COVID-19 cases, of which 691 cases were caused by domestic infections, the number of new cases from July 25 to now is 551 cases. 81 days have passed without cases of COVID-19 infection in the community.
Currently, about 15,800 people in close contact and entry from the epidemic area are under medical surveillance (quarantine).
