Talking to PV Intellectual people On the afternoon of 10/5, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thu, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ha Mo Commune (Dan Phuong District, Hanoi) confirmed that 2 people died in the area of a drowning incident.
Identity of the victim identified as Mr. T.V.D. (SN 1987, local resident) and grandson T.Đ.L. (SN 2009, my brother D.).
Before that, around 4:30 pm the same day, Mr. D. and many young children in the family invited to go to the Dan Hoai Channel (Ha Mo Commune). Later, Mr. D. and his grandson L. jumped into the water ditch to swim.
In the process of bathing under the ditch, my two uncles were suddenly swept into the water under the bridge and then sank. Seeing that, the remaining children hurriedly exhorted and went looking for people to rescue.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities mobilized forces at the scene of the rescue operation.
“About an hour later, the authorities recovered the bodies of my two uncles. Currently, the local authorities are doing the necessary procedures to deliver the bodies to the families of the victims ”- added Mr. Thu.
