The Ministry of Health has committed to receiving 30 million doses of vaccine from the donor source under the COVAX program (trying to return to Vietnam in the last 6 months of 2021), and importing 30 million doses of vaccine from the AstraZeneca company.
Therefore, in 2021, Vietnam is expected to have 60 million doses of vaccine.
In addition, the Ministry of Health is also actively negotiating with other companies, with the aim of ensuring vaccines for each citizen. The ministry will prioritize vaccines in epidemic and high-risk areas.
