According to information from the Hanoi Department of Health, Thach That district registered 1 case with a positive result in the SARS-CoV-2 test when it arrived in France.

Specifically, this positive case of SARS-CoV-2 is Đ.Q, female, born 1995, domiciled in Phu O, Binh Phu, Thach That. This girl is an international student, studying at a graduate school specializing in Chemistry in Korea.

On May 25, Q. from Korea returned to Vietnam and was quarantined in the isolated area of ​​Hoa Vang, Da Nang City. Here, Q. samples were taken to test for SARS-CoV-2 2 times and all were negative. After the quarantine period ended, on June 10, Q. returned home.

During the time at home, Q. did not travel, did not have contact with patients suspected of suffering from Covid-19. By exploiting information, Q. said that in mid-August, she went to the building located at Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi to apply for a visa. At the same time, Q. received orthodontics at a dental hospital on Hai Ba Trung Street. The last time I went for orthodontics was on August 27.

At 2:00 p.m. on September 3, Q. took a taxi from his home to Noi Bai airport. At around 3:35 p.m., Q. flew to France to study the final year program. On the way there was a 2 hour transit at the Doha International Airport, Qatar.

On September 4, Q. arrived at the French airport and was sampled. On September 8, host countries tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Q. is currently in quarantine in a dormitory at the University of Paris IV, France.

After being informed of the case of the international students, the Thach That district medical center reported to the district’s Covid-19 Steering Committee for epidemic prevention. At the same time, two teams were assigned to respond quickly to coordinate with the Binh Phu Commune People’s Committee to investigate, verify the persons involved, and carry out environmental remediation activities.

Through investigation and verification, 12 F1 cases have been recorded, of which 11 people live in Thach That district. Binh Phu Medical Station is making an F2 case list.

All the F1 cases have been sampled and are awaiting results, they are in home quarantine. F2 cases are also listed and placed in home quarantine. Daily monitoring of the health of healthcare personnel for all F1 and F2 cases.
