On October 5, a VSIP-owned Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park (Hai Phong) company issued a written notice of a suspected COVID-19 case.
According to the document, the company received information about a suspected case of COVID-19 from the Osaka Japan airport. This person is called TK (SN 1987, Japanese nationality). Mr. TK said that when he got off at the airport in Osaka, Japan, he was tested using the PCR method and the first result was positive for nCoV.
This result is announced by phone to the Japanese address, but there is no official dispatch.

Mr. TK was appointed to Vietnam for work from January 26, 2018. On October 5, 2020, this person returned to Japan and landed at Osaka Airport at 10:10 am on the same day.
In Hai Phong, Mr. TK lives separately in a hotel in the Vinh Niem neighborhood (Le Chan, Hai Phong). The company reported its results to the Hai Phong (Heza) Economic Zone Authority, the VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park Board of Directors, and the Thuy Nguyen District Medical Center.
According to the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of the COVID-19 Epidemic in the Vinh Niem Pavilion, the authorities blocked the entire fifth floor of the hotel where Mr. TK stayed, including 13 rooms; organizing isolation posters, spraying antiseptic agents on the 5th floor and reception area of the hotel.
The unit also quarantined 10 guests residing on the hotel’s fifth floor, isolating the receptionist team and hotel room staff to await the results of the second exam.
