The Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee determined that Mr. Diep Dung had organized the direction of the illegal capital raising, illegally organized the annual congress and carried out cadre work against Party regulations and was not honest with arranging when necessary to report.
Also on July 27, the City Inspector announced the completion of the law enforcement inspection at Saigon Co.op. Consequently, there are indications of illegal capital mobilization and acquisition in Saigon Co.op.
Furthermore, the 2020 Saigon Co.op membership meeting is still taking place on July 24, 2020, although the Ho Chi Minh City inspector has proposed to suspend the meeting.
At the meeting, many contents were approved outside the scheduled program, including capital issues, dismissal of members of the Board of Directors and the proposed dismissal of the Director General for the reason that the Director General was not real. At the end of August 2020, Mr. Diep Dung submitted an application to the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to resign the Chairman of the Board of Saigon Co.op.
