There will be new shoots if we ignore and lower our guard

Regarding disease prevention, recently Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long, Acting Minister of Health, chaired the online briefing on epidemic prevention work with leaders of the central hospitals of the Department of Health. local health sector in the country.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long said that in the past, we have been proactive and active, and the measures to prevent epidemics have basically controlled the epidemic.

However, at present, the pathogen is already in the community, so there will be cases in the community. There will be new outbreaks if we ignore and lower our guard. Always bear in mind that the epidemic will be with us for a long time. Preventing the epidemic will also be much more difficult than before. The medical force must do double or triple the effort compared to what we have done before.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long emphasized: If it is not swift and drastic, the epidemic will spread faster than our response. It must be carefully zoned, quickly removed, tracked over time, and completely isolated to stop pathogens in the community.
