Five teachers at a public school in Mukdahan province, Thailand, face sexual assault charges against a 14-year-old student. Two former students were also accused of participating in the filming of these depraved acts.

According to the Bangkok Post, the incident occurred in March last year, but the victim’s grandmother only knew that her nephew was abused earlier this month. The victim filed a police report after a long period of silence.
Seven men, including five teachers and two alumni of a public school in Mukdahan province, were accused of assaulting 14-year-old girls.
The suspects denied the charges and paid 200,000 baht for the bail. The suspects are suspended teachers from teaching, transferred to office jobs pending the conclusion of a police investigation, said Prasert Boonruang, an official with the Thai Ministry of Education.
According to police officer Namchai Sriwiang, the suspects repeatedly raped 14-year-old girls at school and videotaped them. This action started in March 2019.
The case started when a victim who had been seduced by a math teacher went to the staff room and then suspected a sexual assault.
Then the teacher invited six other men to participate in different places and times. Sexual assaults occur in various locations, including the school classroom and the suspects’ homes.
Teachers also threatened to let her repeat the class if she refused to have sex. Thai police also investigated the possibility that not only the 14-year-old girl was a victim, but also another student in grade 10.
Thailand’s royal police chief Chakthip Chaijinda has called on his subordinates to conduct a thorough investigation and to report the incident soon.
