Initially, a fire started in the house in the alley of Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Pham Ngu Lao neighborhood.

The fire was rapid, many people used a mini fire extinguisher but they failed. Currently, the firefighting force is present to perform rescues. Approximately 5 special-use vehicles (including elevator to be shipped).

The fire is now spreading to neighboring houses. Next to that is Ernst Thalmann High School. All students at this school have been evacuated.
According to a source from the Fire and Rescue Police Department, the scene of the fire was on the second floor of a bar under repair on this street.
Currently the fire is controlled, but due to the smoke, the force has to remove the roof to spray water, to prevent the fire from rebounding.
Many properties on the second floor of the bar were burned by fire. Authorities are investigating specific causes and damages.
