39-year-old patient died while undergoing back pain surgery at a hospital in Binh Duong.
Police in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province, tonight (October 8) conducted an autopsy, investigating the cause of death of a patient during surgery at the hospital.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of the same day at Hoan My Van Phuc 1 Hospital (Tuong Binh Hiep Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province).
The victim of death was Ms NTB (39 years old, living in Phu Giao district, Binh Duong province).
According to relatives of the victim, Ms B often suffered from back pain and numbness in her legs, so on 8 October she was taken to Hoan My Van Phuc Hospital 1 for examination.
After the examination, the hospital recommended Ms B to have surgery and at the same time said that the disease was not serious, only a few simple surgeries were performed.
At 6 o’clock on the same day, Ms B was allowed to take blood and urine samples for analysis before the operation.
Her family said the hospital announced that the test results were normal, so she decided to operate on Ms B at 8 o’clock.
However, around 1:00 PM, her family was suddenly informed that Ms B had died of a “drop in blood pressure”.
The incident prompted the family to meet at the hospital urgently, asking this unit to explain the cause.
Tonight, the police from the city of Thu Dau Mot went to the hospital to take testimony from the people involved, investigate and clarify the incident.
