On December 2, Vietnam Airlines suspended work with the male flight attendant “patient 1342” to consider discipline with the form of dismissal. He is determined to have committed a violation of preventive medical isolation Covid-19, which has caused serious consequences.

According to the HCMC Health Department, the process for each Vietnam Airlines flight is isolated in a separate area. However, during the 4-day isolation here, two patients (including “patient 1342”) violated the regulations, going from one quarantine area to another. This shows the lack of management in the isolated concentrated area of Vietnam Airlines. As a rule, even members of the same flight cannot contact each other.
