At around 12 o’clock on December 20, Huynh Thi Bich Hanh and Huynh Quoc Viet (22 years old), Nguyen Ngoc Son (also known as Cuoi, 25 years old), Huynh Thi Thuy Kieu (21 years old), both in the neighborhood from My Quy, Long City Xuyen and some others (unidentified) went to VIP room 2 of MD karaoke on Pham Cu Luong street to sing and drink beer.
Around 4:00 pm, some people left, only Hanh, Son and Viet continued to sing and drink beer.
Moments later, there was a conflict between the 3 people. At this moment, Hanh hit Viet’s head with a glass and Viet hit Sơn’s head once and broke the glass.
Then Hanh pulled a knife from his body to stab Viet, then Viet ran out and arrived in front of the MD store.
At that moment, Hanh caught up with him and stabbed Viet’s left chest once. Viet fell to the street and was taken to the emergency room by people from An Giang Province General Hospital.
According to the An Giang Provincial General Center Hospital, so far the patient is still in critical condition.

After receiving the news, the Long Xuyen City police force arrived at the scene to invite Hanh to the police headquarters to work and deliver the weapon.
“The original reason may have been that Hanh wanted to ‘manipulate’ Viet to show that he is an elderly person, so this incident should occur,” added Lt. Col. Hau.
The Long Xuyen City Police examined the scene and took initial testimony from the people involved.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by the Long Xuyen City Police.
