On the night of February 25, Dr. Tran Tien, the poison control department of Ha Tinh General Hospital, said that the hospital was treating 5 people who were poisoned after eating beef.
At around 9 pm on February 24, the poison emergency service received 5 patients in the Son Loc commune, Can Loc district, with symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting, loose stools. Some patients also develop a fever.
After receiving, doctors have infusion, using antibiotics, digestive enzymes to support treatment. Patients continue to be monitored and treated in the department.
Nguyen Thu Luu, 1 in 5 patients, said that on the afternoon of February 23, when he returned through the Khe Giao crossing, Son Loc commune, he bought 1 kg of beef to eat with his family. Because he came home late, the family has finished eating, so they have not eaten this meat.
On the evening of the same day, he, his wife and their 3 children brought the calf to eat and gave a portion to the mother and daughter. After some time, all 8 people began to show symptoms of vomiting and passed out.

The 8 people were examined in the health station of the Son Loc commune, then 5 serious cases were transferred to the General Hospital of Ha Tinh province for treatment.
Mr. Luu also said that that day in addition to himself, he also had a friend who also bought 0.5 kg, and also suffered food poisoning, being treated at the Thach Ha District Medical Center.
