In October, C01 received a complaint from Mr. Le Van Lam, Managing Director of Dong Nai Kim Oanh Investment and Development Corporation (Kim Oanh Company), saying that Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong and Mr. Tran Quy Thanh the same number of people involved in the behavior Entrusting the abuse to appropriate property, Not pay taxes, by transfer of projects, corporate actions.

According to Mr. Lam, the actions of Ms. Uyen Phuong and these individuals caused more than 1,000 billion VND damages to Kim Oanh Dong Nai.

On November 9, C01 issued a decision to assign the resolution of criminal information, at the same time sent a written request to the Dong Nai People’s Committee to direct the departments and branches to maintain the current legal status; suspend asset fluctuations (purchase, sale, donation, mortgage of shares, land use rights …) for Minh Thanh Dong Nai Company, the residential area project under planning in An Phuoc commune, Long District Thanh. Mr. Lam believes that this land is the property that has been taken.

Answer VnExpress, legal representative of Ms. Uyen Phuong He said that he has not received any notification from the Ministry of Public Security about the suspension of changes in the properties of the land. The information that Mr. Le Van Lam reported to Ms. Uyen Phuong was known only through the statement of the C01 representative and in the newspaper.

As for Mr. Lam, the representative of Kim Oanh Company, accused Ms. Uyen Phuong of taking over Minh Thanh Company with false contracts, Ms. Uyen Phuong said “not true”. The transfer contracts are actual, actually entered into between the parties and “actively and voluntarily performed” by Kim Oanh Company. Therefore, ownership of Kim Oanh Company’s Minh Thanh Company shares was transferred to Ms. Uyen Phuong in accordance with the law.

Regarding the fact that Kim Oanh Company believes it has “lost 1,000 billion VND” from the Minh Thanh Company project (ownership is proposed by the investigating agency to suspend the fluctuation of the Dong Nai People’s Committee), Ms. Phuong said Kim Oanh only owns 50% of the share capital and does not own any other assets of this company, the remaining 50% is owned by other shareholders. Therefore, the Kim Oanh Company that does not own a project invested by Minh Thanh Company cannot be considered damaged.

Furthermore, this project is in the stage approved by the Dong Nai Province People’s Committee and is implementing investment readiness steps. For the project to be formally approved, much more work has to be done.

Ms. Uyen Phuong is the daughter of Mr. Tran Qui Thanh. She is currently the Deputy Managing Director of Tan Hiep Phat. According to data from the Company Registration Portal in mid-2019, this businesswoman has roles in more than 40 different businesses, of which 11 are recently created real estate firms.
