Hong Ngu City was established on the basis of a total of 121.84 km2 of natural area and a population of 100,610 Hong Ngu City residents.
Hong Ngu City has 7 administrative units at the commune level, including 5 wards: An Binh A, An Binh B, An Lac, An Loc, An Thanh and 2 communes of Binh Thanh, Tan Hoi.
