Nearly 20m high N’Trang Long Monument located on top of Dak Nur Hill (about 2 km from Gia Nghia city center, Dak Nong). The entire monument is made of greenstone, in which the main statue is 13 m high and the reliefs are 5.5 m high and 27 m wide.

The main statue shows the hero N’Trang Long (who led the M’Nong people’s uprising against French colonial rule in 1912-1936). The relief at the bottom shows the image of daily life and the war against the invading enemies of the peoples of the Central Highlands.

The work began in 2015 with an estimated total cost of 167 billion VND. Amounts contributed by people, companies, local and central budgets. In which, the budget of the province of Dak Nong allocated 12.8 billion, the rest is mobilized from sources of socialization.

Dak Nong initially planned to complete the N’Trang Long monument in 2018. However, during the construction process, this work had many design and construction errors. The base that supported the original design force was just over 1,100 tons, but the monument and relief portion was up to 2,052 tons. Dak Nong Province had to remove the original base and add nearly 1.8 billion VND to make a new nail.

The conclusion of the inspection then pointed to many errors in the evaluation of the offer and project management, construction quality management.
