The Quang Ngai Border Force has just discovered two tanks with Chinese characters heading into the coast.
Two tanks were found washed ashore in Binh Thuan Commune (Binh Son District) and Pho Khanh Commune (Duc Pho City, Quang Ngai Province).
The tank is cylindrical, made of gray metal, each about 5 m long. Each tank is protected by a sturdy iron frame, the valve is sealed with lead clamps.
The Chinese inscription on the body of the tank says it is liquefied petroleum gas. The attached warning image also shows that the inside of the tank may be flammable or explosive.
In addition to the two tanks mentioned above, the Quang Ngai Border Force also discovered an iron buoy floating in the waters of Chau Me village (Binh Chau commune, Binh Son district).
The float is about 4 m high and about 2.5 m in diameter. The upper part of the buoy has a signal light and a positioning device. There are also many Chinese characters on the plate.
The previous objects have been fixed on the coast, avoiding drift and causing danger to the works and boats of the fishermen.
Currently, the Quang Ngai province authorities are verifying the origin and function used to have a proper address for the above objects.
At the beginning of November 7, people also discovered a chemical tank with Chinese words heading for the coast of Dien Duong neighborhood, Dien Ban city, Quang Nam province. These tanks are identified as containing gas.
