Faced with this issue, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee said it was working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and proposed that this ministry discuss with the relevant agencies to agree on policies and implementation methods to ensure feasibility and response. actual requirements.

Furthermore, the report also indicated that in 2020, there were 127 cases of foreigners arrested for violating Vietnamese laws related to fraud, drug offenses, robbery, gambling, use of false documents, illegal possession and sale of military weapons and illegal entry. of Chinese.

After the arrest, the Department of Foreign Relations has coordinated to accept and organize that the representative offices of the countries visit the consulate for the first time according to the consular agreement or the bilateral consular agreement between Vietnam and other countries.
