The driver claimed to transport the Chinese group from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City for VND 20 million.

At that time, there were 2 Vietnamese in the car, the driver Dinh Xuan Hien (29 years old, from Thai Binh) and a man named Quan. Driver Dinh Xuan Hien claimed to take 4 Chinese from a location about 2 km from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) to Ho Chi Minh City for 20 million VND.

Initially, the O Hoa Hiep (Da Nang) Gate Traffic Police Station registered an infringement file against the driver of a passenger car without a credential as prescribed, and handed it over to the Hoa Hiep Bac neighborhood police (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang) continue to prosecute and investigate.
