On the afternoon of February 8, news from Highway Administration I.1, Vietnam Highway Directorate, confirmed that a serious traffic accident had just occurred in Son La province, causing 1 death and 6 people.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred around 11:30 am on the same day, at Km 220 + 030 Nacional 6, a section that passes through the Tu Nang commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province.
At that time, the blue marine wagon with BKS 26M-000.76 was driving towards Son La – Hanoi, when it reached the previous place, it suddenly ran into a tanker truck carrying BKS 29H-076.60 in the opposite direction.
The blue marine car is known to be driven by Mr. NVB (38 years old, in To Hieu neighborhood, Son La city) in the direction of Son La-Hanoi. And the tanker trucks were driven by Mr. PNT (41 years old, in Tien Lang, Hai Phong).

As a result, the heavy impact killed 1 person and injured 6 people (all of them above blue sea car). At the scene, the blue marine wagon was under the ditch, badly damaged. The tanker truck also slightly damaged the front of the vehicle.
“The accident killed an elderly woman at the scene, the injured people who were sitting in the car are currently in an ambulance at the Moc Chau District General Hospital,” said a leader of the Tu Nang Commune People’s Committee, saying that the original cause is that it was raining and the road was slippery, causing an accident.
The identity of the dead victim was identified as an elderly NTN (91 years old, in the To Hieu neighborhood, Son La city).
Upon receiving the news, the Son La province police went to the scene to regulate traffic and clarify the cause of the accident.
